All About You Chapter 10

Once we all got home Tom wanted to confront Dougie about what Harry had said. He didn’t know what Dougie could’ve possibly done that would break his trust. Everyone got inside and Tom asked Dougie to meet him in his room. Once Dougie got to Tom’s room, Dougie was worried. “You wanted to talk to me?” Dougie asked scared to know Tom’s reasoning. “Yes ummm I just wanted to ask you, Harry said that you had done something….” and before Tom could finish Dougie became outraged. “HARRY TOLD YOU!!! I CAN’T BELIEVE HIM! HE PROMISED HE WOULDN’T TELL YOU! I’M GOING TO KILL HIM!!!” “Wait Dougie Harry didn’t tell me anything what was he not supposed to tell me?” Tom asked but Dougie was already running down the stairs to the living room where Harry was sitting on the couch answering emails on his iphone. Dougie ran up to Harry and threw his phone out of his hands. “Hey what was that for Dougie?” Harry asked. “I CAN’T BELIEVE YOU TOLD TOM WHEN I SPECIFICALLY TOLD YOU NOT TO! NOW HE’S GOING TO KILL ME HARRY! HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO ME? Harry tried to calm him down but he just got more enraged. When Harry grabbed his arms Dougie pulled away and started punching Harry in the face. “Dougie I didn’t tell him I just told him that you weren’t to be trusted.” “OH THAT MAKES IT SO MUCH BETTER HARRY YOU JUST TOLD MY BEST FRIEND TO NOT FUCKING TRUST ME! YOU RUIN EVERYTHING YOU STUPID PIECE OF SHIT! WHY CAN’T YOU JUST LEARN TO KEEP YOUR MOUTH SHUT!?!? Then Dougie started hitting Harry harder and harder while still yelling at him. At this point Harry had become unresponsive and was covered in his own blood. Not too long after this everyone came running into the living room after hearing Dougie screaming. Tom ran in and saw Harry on the floor unconscious and glanced at Harry’s blood on Dougie’s hands. “Did you do this to him?” Tom asked Dougie almost yelling with anger. “Yeah” Dougie said softly just now realizing what he had done. “Why did you do it Dougie?” Tom asked. “Because he told you what I did Tom he betrayed my trust!” Dougie answered. “He didn’t tell me what you did so please Dougie why don’t you tell me what you did that was so important that Harry got beaten up because you thought he told me.” Tom said getting irritated. Dougie looked over at me as he said “I kissed Lindsey.” Everything went silent and I knew things were about to change. Tom looked at me with disgust and everyone else gave me looks of shock. “GET OUT BOTH OF YOU I DON’T WANT EITHER OF YOU IN MY HOUSE ANYMORE!” Tom screamed at me and Dougie. “It wasn’t her fault I kissed her she didn’t kiss me back.” Dougie tried to plea with him. “I don’t care she kept this from me so now I can’t trust either of you so get out.” Tom said. Dougie went upstairs and packed a bag as I ran out the door. I sat on the steps by myself for about 10 minutes then I heard the door open I didn’t look up because I thought it was Dougie. It was Shelby she sat down next to me. “What are you doing out here? Why aren’t you in there with Danny?” “Because you need me Lindsey. How could you do that? And how come you didn’t tell me I’m your best friend.” “Here I’ll tell you everything, this morning I went upstairs to go to the bathroom and wasn’t paying attention and just ran into the door well Dougie was in the bathroom and the door hit him make his head crash into the mirror and so his face got cut up so I had to give him stitches and he passed out well then when he woke back up I was feeling horrible about what had happened and he kissed me, I didn’t kiss back and I stopped him and told him he couldn’t tell anyone that this would happen because I didn’t want anything to come between me and Tom, well then Harry read a text that said not to tell anyone so then Dougie told him and then apparently Harry told Tom not to trust Dougie but Dougie thought Harry told Tom so he beat up Harry, and now Tom hates both of us and everything is ruined.” I said now crying. “Lindsey I understand I really do but Tom won’t so I think we just need to go home and let everything rest for a few days and see if Tom comes around.” “Yeah I guess you’re right Shelby let’s go home.” We got in her car and as we were getting ready to leave Dougie walked out of the house, he walked up to my window and mouthed the words “I’m sorry” and I nodded my head to let him know I wasn’t mad at him. He then began to get in his car and drive away. We then drove to our flat and Shelby got a phone call saying the boys had taken Harry to the hospital and he was going to be there for a few days. She told Danny she couldn’t go see him because she couldn’t go with out me and taking me wouldn’t be safe right now. He understood. I stayed in my room at our flat for 6 days straight only leaving my room to go to the bathroom and kitchen. I was so depressed I couldn’t believe I had really lost Tom. Shelby was coming and going to go see Danny, it was getting hard to tell whose side she was on, the boys or mine. I hated that I had forced her to pick sides but the guys now hated me and thought I had purposefully cheated on Tom with Dougie. I did know one thing Shelby did not approve of me and Dougie at all. A few more days went by and me and Shelby were sitting on the couch in the living room watching a movie it was very late at night and it was pouring rain outside and we decided to do the typical girl movie night with ice cream tissues and a chick flick. Of course this effected me the most with losing Tom and all but that’s what the ice cream was for. Not long after Shelby had fallen asleep there was a knock at the door, I got up wondering who would be here at this hour especially with the weather the way it was. I opened the door and turned on the light there was a figure facing away from the door completely soaking wet in nothing but a sweater and cut off shorts holding a douffle bag. The figure turned around when I opened the door, it was Dougie.

All About You Chapter 9

After I was done stitching Dougie up he still hadn’t woken up so i pushed his hair out of his eyes and took the cool rag and wiped his face to cool him off. Still no one had come up to check on either one of us which was kind of strange but I was more worried about Dougie. “Lindsey?” Dougie whispered his eyes still not opened.”Yes Dougie it’s me. How are you feeling?” I asked him knowing the answer was pretty clear. “Better now.” He said now opening his eyes. “Good. I was so worried about you. I had to give you stitches.” I said looking into his blue eyes. “Really?” He tried to stand up but he stumbled back into my arms, I caught him. “Yes.” I helped him up. He looked in the mirror at his cut up face and his stitches. “Thanks Lindsey.” Dougie said smiling at me. “You don’t owe me a thank you I’m the one who did this to you.” I said now looking at the floor ashamed. Dougie saw that I was upset about what I had done. He turned around and faced me and put his hand under my chin to make me look up at him. I had never noticed how beautiful his blue eyes were until this moment. He looked straight into my eyes and said “Lindsey I’m glad this happened.” and I began to ask why but he interrupted me and said “because then I wouldn’t have the opportunity to do this.” he said as he closed his eyes and pressed his gentle lips against mine. My body froze I couldn’t move at all. I didn’t know why I couldn’t move, whether it was a good or bad feeling. Dougie put one of his hands on my lower back and pushed me softly against the wall. He was now kissing me passionately I could tell he really meant this kiss. He took his free hand and placed it on my cheek. I still couldn’t feel anything or move at all, it was like it wasn’t even happening. Then all of a sudden Tom popped into my head. I sort of jumped and this made Dougie stop kissing me. “Are you ok?” he asked me. “Tom” that’s all I could say. “I’m so sorry Lindsey I really am. Please don’t tell Tom it’ll be our secret no one will ever know. Please” he begged me with worry in his eyes. “Yeah no one should no about this.” I said now leaving the bathroom, Dougie didn’t follow me. I was glad he didn’t. I had many emotions running through my body. Partly anger ‘how could Dougie do that? Tom is his best friend!’ Partly happiness ‘Wow that kiss was amazing, it took my breath away.’ and Partly confusion, ‘what am I going to do? How am I going to hide this from Tom?’ I got down stairs and everyone was still sitting at the table eating breakfast. I was relieved to see they hadn’t noticed me and Dougie had been gone for a while. Tom saw me walk in and got up and wrapped his arms around me. “Hey babe I think we are all going to go to the mall today but first we are going to go back to the venue from last night get your cars let you drive them home then we will pick you up at your flat and we will all ride together. First we should all give each other everyone’s numbers in case of emergency.” After Tom said this Dougie walked down stairs, he had on a headband that pushed his hair over his cut so you couldn’t see it. Everyone gave each other their numbers and we all piled up in Danny’s Bentley and headed to the venue. Danny drove and of course Shelby sat in the passenger seat. Me and Tom sat in the back while Harry and Dougie sat in the middle. Tom began talking to Danny and I got a text message so I pulled out my phone and the message said it was from Dougie. I clicked read and the message read: “Lindsey I want to apologize for earlier. I hope you will forgive me.” I hurried and text back. “Dougie, I forgive you but I thought we were going to forget what happened.” I put my phone away and then I heard Dougie’s phone vibrate after recieving my text. I watched as Harry gave Dougie a weird look. “Who would be texting you Dougie?” Harry asked with a slight laugh. “Oh its just twitter.” Dougie said somewhat frantically after reading the text. He typed another text then hit send and set the phone between him and Harry as he joined in on Tom and Danny’s conversation. When I got his text it read: “Yes I know I won’t say another word.” I replied with “Good I don’t want anything to come between me and Tom.” When the message went through to Dougie’s phone it vibrated and the message popped up on the screen, Dougie wasn’t paying attention but Harry looked down at it, he saw the message and looked very confused. Harry looked back at me but I quickly looked out the window avoiding his glance. We got to the venue and me and Shelby got out and got into my car. We drove back to our flat and then she got a call from Danny saying they were almost there. I was so scared I felt like I really needed to tell Shelby what had happened between me and Dougie but at the same time I tried to just not think about it as if it hadn’t happened. The boys arrived and we got in the car again. We got to the mall and everyone got out. Tom took my hand along with Danny taking Shelby’s we all walked in and Shelby grabbed me and we walked off from the boys as they all entered a men’s store. ~Back with the Boys~ Harry pulled Dougie aside while Tom and Danny continued shopping. “Dougie I need to talk to you.” Harry said somewhat sternly. “What’s wrong Harry?” Dougie asked. “I don’t know Dougie, you tell me, what was that text from Lindsey all about?” Harry asked almost sounding angry. “What message from Lindsey?” Dougie asked now walking away and trying to change the subject. Harry stopped him. “The one that said “Good I don’t want anything to come between me and Tom.” What would come between her and Tom, Dougie?” Harry said trying to get Dougie to talk. “Nothing Harry, Nothing ok?” Dougie said now getting upset. “Dougie tell me what happened.” Harry insisted. “I kissed Lindsey ok? there now you know and I’m sure you are going to go run and tell Tom and he will kill me and you will be happy.” Dougie said with sadness in his voice. “I’m not going to tell Tom but why did you do that Dougie?” he said with disappointment. “I don’t know Harry I just did.” Dougie said now walking away from Harry. They found Tom and Danny and they had now met up with Shelby and I. We had been shopping all day so we now headed back to the car. Once in the car I noticed Tom got a text message he didn’t respond to it but I did notice Harry looked in his direction. A few minutes later I saw Tom read the message then he texted Harry back saying: “Why should I keep an eye on Dougie? He’s never given me a reason to not trust him.” then very quickly Harry responded “He has now.”
